Creating & Managing Custom Bundles
Custom bundles give you full manual control over which products appear as recommendations for each specific product in your store. You decide the pairings — the app handles the display and discounts.
Accessing Custom Bundles
Click Custom bundles in the left sidebar of the app. You will see a paginated table listing all products in your store.
Understanding the Product Table
The table shows:
Product — product thumbnail and name
Discount — whether this product uses the global discount, an individual (per-product) discount, or no discount
Recommend product — thumbnail previews of the recommended products already assigned to this bundle (shown as small images; a dash means no bundle has been created yet)
Use the Search all products bar at the top to quickly find a specific product by name.
Creating a Custom Bundle
Find the product you want to create a bundle for and click its row
The bundle editor opens for that product
Click Add products to open the product picker
Search for and select the products you want to recommend alongside this product
Click Add to confirm your selection
The selected products appear in the recommended products list
Click Save in the save bar at the top of the page
You can add as many recommended products as you like to a custom bundle. The Recommendation Settings page controls how many are shown at once on the storefront (up to 5). Enable the Do not apply limit to manual bundles toggle in Bundle setup to show all assigned products regardless of the limit.
Reordering Recommended Products
Drag any product in the recommended list up or down using its drag handle to change the display order. The order you set here is the order shown on the storefront (unless you have randomisation enabled).
Removing a Product from a Bundle
Click the Remove (×) button next to any recommended product to remove it from the bundle. Save your changes after removing.
Per-Product Discount
Each custom bundle can have its own discount that overrides the global discount. Scroll to the Discount section within the bundle editor to configure this. For full details, see Per-Product Discounts.
Navigating Between Products
Use the Previous and Next buttons at the top of the bundle editor to move between products without going back to the main list. This makes it efficient to set up bundles for multiple products in sequence.
Saving Changes
All changes require a manual save. Click Save in the save bar that appears at the top of the page whenever there are unsaved changes. If you navigate away without saving, a warning prompt will appear.
If you delete all recommended products from a custom bundle and save, the bundle is effectively empty. The app will fall back to other enabled recommendation types (storewide or random) for that product.
